►CUSTOM BUILD: Each electric guitar is custom handbuilt. Since the fractal art uniquely done to each wood, the picture shown above is not the exact fractal design you'll receive. The shape and size will be the same.
►WOOD: Arizona's desert hardwood, reclaimed from weathered trees throughout metropolitan Phoenix, forms the foundation of each hand-built guitar. Every slab is recovered, milled on a router sled by hand - no CNC, ever - and transformed over 200+ hours into a fully custom instrument. Natural voids and cracks, signatures of Arizona's extreme climate, are stabilized with epoxy and become part of each guitar's character. Handcrafted in North Peoria, Arizona.
►BODY: Our guitar bodies are slightly heavier than typical electric guitar bodies because they are crafted from dense desert hardwoods. To help reduce overall weight, each body is built with a thickness ranging from 1-1/2" to 1-5/8". This design is intended exclusively for use with hardtail fixed bridges. Every body is individually hand-shaped and hand-sanded with minimal use of power tools. No CNC machines are ever used in the construction process. Each guitar begins with the careful harvesting of the hardwood log by hand. The log is then milled into slabs, selected for quality and character, and transformed into a custom electric guitar body. The result is a one-of-a-kind instrument that combines the natural beauty of desert hardwood with distinctive fractal art, creating a functional work of craftsmanship and artistic expression.
►NECK: Every custom electric guitar from Guihan Fractal Guitars is crafted with precision, featuring high-quality USA-made necks for superior playability and tone. The Warmoth brand is available for neck upgrade.
►PICKUP OPTIONS: Guihan Fractal Guitars use Seymour Duncan pickups for all custom deluxe and platinum guitar builds. Price changes if you choose to upgrade to Seymour Duncan signature series pickups, Lambertones, EMG, EVH, Lolar pickups or request different pickup brand for your custom Guihan guitar build.
►STRINGS:  Guihan Fractal Guitars use SJ-BAL10 Stringjoy Signatures | Balanced Light Gauge (10-48) Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings. String Joy strings are expertly crafted in Nashville, TN.
►TUNERS: Gotoh in line 6 tuners are used on deluxe and platinum series guitar necks.
►BRIDGE: For Hardtail bridge, Guihan Fractal Guitars use Gotoh, through-body string or top loading mounting.
For tremolo bridge setup, Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG vintage and GFS D01 vintage bridge.

►FRACTAL ART: A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes. It is sealed with epoxy inlay ink self-leveling high gloss U.V. resistant formula. *Warning: Don’t try this at home. It is fatal and deadly.
►EPOXY COLORS: ANGEL WHITE, AQUA MARINE, ARIZONA GOLD, ARMY GREEN, BLACK, CARDINAL METALLIC, CARIBBEAN BLUE, DESERT COPPER, EMERALD METALLIC, GOLDEN YELLOW, GRAY METALLIC, HOT PINK, HUNTER GREEN, ORANGE, PEARL WHITE, PURPLE METALLIC, RED, SKY  BLUE, TEAL METALLIC, TURQUOISE BLUE. Other colors are available upon request.
►OIL FINISH: Two coats of hand rubbed Old Masters clear satin gel polyurethane is applied on the guitar bodies.. Old Masters Gel Polyurethane is an oil-based clear gel finish that exhibits a soft sheen and a hand-rubbed look.
To revitalize desert hardwood, apply John Boos Mystery oil with a cloth. Wipe around the wood surface evenly. Wipe off excess.
►USE AND CARE:  To revitalize desert hardwood, apply UltraPro Mineral Oil and wipe off excess. UltraPro® Food Grade White Mineral Oil helps maintain and preserve wood board surfaces. It is colorless, odorless, and tasteless mixtures of saturated paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons.
►MISSION STATEMENT: To create a one of kind handmade fractal art electric guitar with patience, care, integrity and passion. Guihan Fractal Guitars is committed to 100% sustainable art.
►TIMELINE: The current lead time for a Guihan Fractal Guitars build is approximately 3–5 months from the date an order is received. Every instrument is individually handbuilt without the use of CNC machinery, ensuring a truly custom build. Please note that all order specifications are finalized upon receipt of payment and cannot be changed thereafter.
►PAYMENT: Guihan Fractal Guitars require 50% deposit down payment non-refundable for all custom handbuilt guitars. We accept PAYPAL, American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Apple Pay.
►BUILD UPDATES: Throughout the guitar build process, I will provide updates, including photos documenting the progress.
►FINAL INSPECTION: Upon completion, each custom handbuilt guitar receives a final inspection and setup through Quality Control process to ensure it meets our exacting standards of finish, performance, and playability.
►SHIPPING: Once your guitar build passes final inspection, it will be carefully packaged for shipment, and your tracking information will be sent directly to you.
►ACCESSORIES: Your custom Guihan Fractal guitar comes complete with a hardshell case, instrument cable, guitar strap, guitar pick, and a certificate of authenticity.
►ABOUT THE ARTIST: Garie Chavez [Artisan/Musician/Luthier] – I have been designing live edge wood art since 2015. In 2020, I started making custom handmade guitar hangers with fractal art and ocean waves resin art for celebrity musicians. By 2023, I built my first custom handmade electric guitar with fractal art design. Patience, persistence, passion and attention to detail are the key ingredients to my work.
